Details at the Yacht Club

Caitlin and Andrew were married at the Podickery Point Yacht Club in Maryland and they incorporated some of the sweetest details into the celebration.  The pineapple robes are to die for, the keepsake book boxes are a great idea and that cake topper is possibly my favorite of all time.  Great job guys!

A Magnolia infused Country Club Celebration in Long Island

Kyle and Lynea were married at Wind Watch Country Club in Long Island, New York.  We love how they incorporated magnolia inspiration into the stationery and florals throughout their wedding.  Lynne's dress was a total stunner and the mismatched bridal party looked gorgeous all lined up next to one another.  The black and white captures of this event are some of our personal favorites.

Classy, Classic Vegas Wedding

David and Allison married in Las Vegas and embraced all things "Sin City" to celebrate their day and entertain their guests.  The black, gold and (pops of) red color palette sets a striking tone that reflects the city's character without being kitschy.  We couldn't love the Elvis impersonator who sang them back down the aisle any more! SO FUN!  Top if off with the epic landscapes surrounding the city and you've got an perfectly played party so representative of this often over-the-top city.  Well done!

A Badass Bohemian Celebration at Sorella Farms

Sean and Mandy's wedding is an EPIC example of what can happen when you infuse a little bit of personality into your wedding celebration.  The super cool couple chose details that made their wedding a a representation of their interests and tastes.  Everything from the leather jacket to the groom's live performance speak to the badass artists' vibe.  We dig it.

A Styled Shoot in Charleston

We are taking a break in our regularly scheduled programming to bring you a BANANAS styled shoot that we did in Charleston SC a while back.  Inspired by the sea and the south, these shots are physical manifestation of the soul of this timeless city.  Enjoy!

A Pretty Party at Pippin Hill

Catherine and Jeff's wedding was such a classically stunning yet understated affair.  We love the attention to detail in all of the paper and the intricate place settings.  Pippin Hill proved the perfect setting for all of the soft tones and texture.  We were able to create something really special for the client by using the clear skies and beautiful landscape- you'll know what I'm talking about when you see the next to last photo.  And to top it off, this wedding was just as fun a it was gorgeous! (we think that you'll find the final picture in this post evidence of just that)

Multiculturalism in the Blue Ridge Mountains

We just love how American and German elements were utilized to celebrate this couple and their love! Both polished and thoughtful, Chris and Annika's celebration at Sierra Vista was a truly sophisticated affair.  The navy and blush attire complimented their custom paper perfectly and the gold touches gave this timeless combination of blue and pink some shine.  We especially love the Koozies that toast the couple in both languages.  Cheers!

A Collegiate Celebration in Central Virginia

Samantha and Tyler's wedding was in a word- STUNNING.  Their ceremony took place at UVA's chapel adorned with all the stained glass and they moved to Pippin Hill Winery for the reception that followed.  Even their rehearsal dinner was an impeccably styled affair.  We love how these two UVA alums paid homage to the alma matter through out the festivities.

Subtle Americana at the Belmont Country Club

Nick and Brooke's touches of red, gold, and blue displayed against fall color at Belmont Country Club lend themselves to a subtle nod to Americana.  The bride's unique dress is one of our favorite details- that back!  Check out their exit if you are a bride seeking a sparkler alternative.

A Curated Country Club Celebration

Bentley and Michael's wedding was an education in understated opulence.  The gorgeous subdued color palette, monochromatic mounds of florals, and touches of gold woven throughout the reception complimented an equally gorgeous couple and their love without stealing the show.  We love all of the thoughtful touches like the custom monogram that graced both their invitations and the dance floor and the portrait that the couple had painted to remember their ceremony.   We also love that the couple opted for a silent disco party because who says that a country club wedding needs to be stuffy!?

Diverse Design in Downtown DC

Marissa and Dave clearly put a lot of thought into creating a look of their own for their wedding day.  The rich colors and glamorous textures all work together to compliment the grand architecture of Georgetown University where they were married.  We are in love with the eclectic bridal party looks complimented by different bouquets that are made of singular components of the bridal bouquet.  The palette is just perfect for a cool weather late fall/early winter celebration of love.

A Classy Classic in our Nation's Capitol

Erin and Dylan put together the classiest celebration at The Mayflower hotel in Washington DC.  The cool neutrals, clean lines, and edited elements made for a simplicity that allowed the couple's personalities to shine through.  The details captured by the team on this one are blowing our minds. Great job Ellie and Karissa!

A Multicultural Wedding at King Family Vineyards

This stunning wedding was beautifully accessorized on every level, from the mounds of florals to the bride and groom's epic wardrobe change after the ceremony.  But the most striking feature throughout David and Tanzira's photos is the groom's expression of sheer joy in every single picture taken that evening.  The love on his face is unmistakable.  We love it!

A Marine Wedding in Warrenton

Just outside of Washington DC, Susan and Danny honored military tradition throughout their wedding by incorporating elements and ceremonies that the branch has long held dear.  The bride's option of a blush color palette and feminine design elements softened the look and made for a very distinct his and hers contrast throughout this wedding.  We think the pillow puts it perfectly.

A Traditional Celebration on the Harbor

Aaron and Maya celebrated their love by pairing ancient traditions with a chic, modern setting.  The beautiful backdrop of soaring glass buildings made for a striking statement against the tradition chuppah under which the couple was married.  This alter feature was adorned with traditional prayer shawls called tallits and the groom wore a tallit during a portion of the ceremony.  The bride and groom also held to the tradition of signing and displaying their ketubah, a formal marriage contract written in the Hebrew language.  All of this attention to time honored tradition leaves us feeling wistfully appreciative when looking back at these gorgeous photos.

A Simple Vineyard Affair in Berryville VA

Unassuming Elegance was the vibe on this couple's wedding day. Nicole and Andrew said their vows in a church under epic stained glass and celebrated their marriage in a rustic barn venue on a Vineyard.  The settings spoke for themselves and the bride's delicate lace dress complimented by the the groom's cowboy boots told a story about a simplicity and earthiness that was carried throughout the wedding details.  Check out that killer drone shot at the end that ties it all together.

A Posh Backyard Picnic in Central VA

Jeff and Nancy shared their vows on their personal property with a small gathering of family and friends.  The vibe complemented the venue perfectly in that it was laid back but sophisticated and thoughtful.  The hay was rolled from the land that was cleared for parking and the couple's gorgeous home provided a perfect backdrop for their ceremony.  A small tent hosted the festivities late into the evening and the black and white gingham screamed refined yet relaxed.  Love this "posh picnic" option for a DIY bride.

A Tropical Tryst in Puerto Rico

Roni and Mitch designed a lush and luxurious event inspired by the destination- Puerto Rico. The bold tone on tone color and metallic touches made for an expensive-feeling yet incredibly warm and welcoming reception by the sea. The deep blue and black worn interchangeably by the bridal party made for a chic under statement in comparison to the luxe decor. Such a dreamy destination wedding!
